Indication(s)·Usage

- 1. Relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis)
- 2. Relief of the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis
- 3. Relief of the signs and symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis
- 4. Acute pain for adults (postoperative analgesia, analgesia after exodontia)
- 5. Primary dysmenorrhea

Dosage and administration

The minimum recommended dose of this drug should be adjusted depending on the patient, and it can be administered without regard to meals.
- Adults
  - 1. Osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis): Orally administer 200 mg of celecoxib once daily, or 100 mg twice daily in divided doses.
  - 2. Rheumatoid arthritis: Orally administer 100mg or 200mg twice daily
  - 3. Ankylosing spondylitis (AS): Administer 200 mg of celecoxib once daily, or 100 mg twice daily in divided doses. In the absence of any increases in therapeutic benefits after 6 weeks, the maximum recommended daily dose is 400 mg for all indications. In the absence of any increases in therapeutic benefits after 6 weeks 400 mg daily, other therapeutic options should be considered.
  - 4. Acute pain and primary dysmenorrhea : The initial recommended dose is 400 mg of celecoxib and if necessary, an additional 200 mg is administered on the first day of administration. From the second day of administration, if necessary, 200 mg is administered twice daily as a recommended amount.
- Patients with hepatic impairment
  In patients with moderate hepatic impairment (Pediatric use-Pugh Class II), the dose should be reduced to approximately 50% of the recommended daily dose.
