● SK chemicals’ ‘Mvix S’ Melts in Your Mouth in 10 Sec
- Upgrade complete… smaller size, faster melting
- No. 1 position in film-type drug market, market dynamics set to changeSK chemicals has announced its successful commercialization of its second-generation Mvix S, delivering a marked improvement on the melting speed and size of the world’s first film-type erectile dysfunction (ED) drug, Mvix S. The drug will be available from drug stores with a doctor’s prescription from February 27, 2014.
The new product comes in a 50mg specification. Compared to the older version, the film’s size has been reduced by almost half, while the time it takes to melt in the mouth has been reduced by more than 30%. The 100mg specification will be available for purchase at drugstores with a doctor’s prescription from March 5, 2014.
At the lab testing conducted by SK chemicals’ Life Science Research Center, the new Mvix S 50mg specification melted completely within 30 seconds under the conventional drinking water condition and within 10 seconds in the “mouth” condition.
Because the product can been taken in a melted form without water, various other factors other than its remedial effect are important, such as its taste, fragrance and melting speed. With the launch of the new product, certain complaints among patients who take the film-type drug are expected to be resolved.
“The introduction of the new product will consolidate SK chemicals’ position as the clear leader of the film-type drug market. We will strengthen our marketing campaign to change the paradigm in the impotency drug market,” declared Choi Nak-jong, director of Marketing Division at SK chemicals.
SK chemicals introduced Mvix S, the world’s first film-type ED drug, in December 2011. The appearance of a product that helps men recover their self-esteem changed the dynamics of the market.
