SK Chemical announced the 2015 executive posts on the 9th, and among them was Manhoon Park, current Director of the Institute of Life Science, listed as the newly-appointed Life Science Biz CEO and Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Since joining SK Chemical in 2008, Mr. Park has spearheaded the vaccine project, which has served as the driving force behind the growth of the Life Science Division and has personally laid the groundwork for advances in R&D and production. He is concentrating his efforts on entering the global market via vaccine development including collaborating with Sanofi Pasteur on developing a pneumonia vaccine and pursuing an export agreement.
Byongno Han, current Director of the LS Management Support Division, was also announced as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) and appointed as Vice President.
Mr. Han’s vast experience in the fields of finance, R&D, HR and labor services ensures a proficient growth dynamic for globalizing the life science industry and harmonizing relations among team members and promoting positive labor-management relations.
To ensure the expertise and competitive capacity essential for global expansion, the newly-appointed CTO will oversee R&D and Production while the COO will function as the command tower for both the Marketing and Management Support Divisions.
Green Chemical Biz has also nominated the current Composite Materials Division Director, Wonchol In, to be the new Executive Director. The continued success of that division is attributed to Mr. In’s ceaseless efforts toward innovation of the industry itself.
Green Chemical Biz seeks to sustain a stable organizational groundwork of the business while exerting further energy into the company’s all-encompassing growth.
