● SK chemicals appoints Vice-President Han Byeong-ro as CEO at a general meeting of stockholders
SK chemicals has appointed Vice-President Han Byeong-ro as the company’s new Chief Executive
Officer at the general meeting of stockholders and board of directors on March 20.
Previously, Vice-President Han Byeong-ro used his extensive experience in finance, HR and labor management to stabilize labor-management relations and promote the global expansion of the Life Science Business.
Along with his duties as CEO of Life Science Biz in charge of pharmaceutical operations, Mr. Han will also serve as COO (Chief Operating Officer), oversee marketing and business support sections, and assist President Park Man-hoon.
This will allow President Park, who took up his post early this year, to direct all management and fulfill his role as CTO (Chief Technology Officer), which entails focusing on R&D and production for the continued growth of core businesses including vaccines.
SK chemicals has recently voted on these measures in their original forms: △Approved the 46th financial statement and consolidated financial statement, △appointed a director, △appointed members of the audit committee, and △approved the budget limit of the director wages.
