SKYBIO Team＇s home environment chemicals, such as Cool-Shot and the facility protective agent for heating systems, obtained the Q-Mark after going through a joint standardization and inspection of Korea Machinery-Meter and Petrochemical Testing & Research Institute and Korea Merchandise Testing & Research Institute, which are two of the six subsidiary national authentication institutes of the Agency of Technology and Standards.On last March 13th in the fine chemicals BIO facility located in Suwon Factory, all the production, marketing and R&D staffs have joined together and held the Q-Mark hanging board ceremony regarding facility protective agent for heating systems. They have disclosed that through systemized production management and quality control, they will develop the differentiated technology -- that＇s already been approved by being applied in the apartments of each regions, buildings and electric heating market -- not only in the development level, but also in the product manufacture and final supply.The new-concept facility protective agent (SKYPOWER 003) was developed to effectively prevent the corrosion of various metals in the airtight cooling/heating circulation piping works of apartments and other buildings. SKYPOWER 003 extents the lifespan of the facilities by 10 times and shows superior efficacy in increasing the heating effectiveness. Cool-Shot is a superior product used in buildings and small to medium sized cooling towers to sterilize Legionella as well as to restraint corrosion and scale, and the consumers have already experience the excellent features of the product before. Although they are as important as the blood vessels in a human body, the maintenance and care in the main home environment facilities are still in a poor state. In this aspect, winning the Q-Mark is a significant achievement indeed.The SKYBIO team has already started the ＇Home Environment Chemical＇ program in various piping works and installations of home environment facilities. With acquiring the Q-Mark for the facility protective agent and Cool-Shot as the starting point, the SKYBIO team plans to add fresh fuel in improving the home environment facilities that are currently falling behind the advanced nations by 10 years through obtaining Korean National Standardization presentations and authentication marks on all of the products such as the tunnel cleaner for boiler (SKYPOWER 500S).
