Dosage and administration

Adults: Apply 1 - 3 patches onto a clean area of skin where the most intense level of pain is felt, once daily.
Administration advice: The patch should be applied immediately after removal from the protective envelope. It is also possible to cut the patch into smaller pieces and removing the protective film.
For patients with disabilities or impaired drug elimination, it is recommended that treatment proceed through application onto smaller areas.
If any irritation or burning sensations occur, remove the patch(es) and do not apply until the irritation subsides.
When using with other local anesthetics, the amount absorbed from all formulations must be considered.
