    • Patients with renal impairment
In patients with renal injury, the dose of cefadroxil should be adjusted by the creatinine clearance to prevent drug accumulation. The following dosing regimen is recommended. That is, the initial dose for adults is 1000 mg (titer), and the maintenance amount is 500 mg (titer) at the following time intervals based on the creatinine clearing rate (mL/min/1.73m2). Patients with a creatinine clearance of 50 mL or more per minute can be treated as in patients with normal renal function.

      Creatinine clearance Dosing interval
      0~10mL/min 36 hours
      10~25mL/min 24 hours
      25~50mL/min 12 hours

The dose may be adjusted depending on the patient’s age and symptoms.
