SK chemicals Site ManagerWe Are Opening a Neo-North-South Dynastic Era in China
- A double-harness carriage of specialty chemicals and life science is set to enter the Chinese market.
- Builds BC plant in Wujiang and LS Marketing Base in Beijing
SK chemicals (CEO Kim, Chang-geun) disclosed its business plans for China, predicting a new North-South dynastic era.
SK chemicals announced that it plans to dynamically execute its Chinese business by building a subsidiary in the Shanghai suburbs for the production of specialty chemical on the 27th of this month and opening a life science marketing subsidiary in Beijing.
This is the company’s second local production subsidiary, following the opening of its prepreg factory in Qingdao. It is a rather extraordinary case, as the company is building subsidiaries for specialty chemicals and life science marketing at the same time. In particular, SK chemicals has declared its entry into China’s life science market by founding a marketing subsidiary in Beijing, China.
“China, our neighboring country, will provide us with many diverse opportunities,” said one SK chemicals executive. “SK chemicals will lead the Chinese market with superior technologies by exploiting such opportunities in advance of our competitors.”
