President Kim carried out marketing consultations with global chemical companies such as Covestro, Lanxess, A. Schulman, PolyOne, DSM and PolyCASA during an exhibition period.
In his direct tour to the show, he expressed his willingness to comply with the resolution of the group CEO seminar, asserting that a “CEO must go to the global fields.”
In response to the CEO’s willingness, the company has started to introduce specialty materials such copolyester PETG/ECOZEN, PPS ECOTRAN, PCT SKYPURA and TPEE SKYPEL.

The concept of specialty plastic stands apart from commodity plastics like PVC and PET because it is a high value-added material that requires a high level of technical skill and expertise in fulfilling each customer’s applications.
President Kim said that a “CEO must meet customers directly in the field to develop products in line with the customer’s viewpoint,” adding that “We are determined to expand our overseas market through this field-based management.”
SK Chemical used this exhibition to introduce its eco-friendly 3D material brand SKYPELTE. The 3D material market has drawn much attention as a future growth business in the global material market.
The high-functional resin business team leader Sim Hyeon-seop said, “This CEO visit has produced good results such as the prompt signing of new contracts with major customers in Europe,” adding, “These efforts will propel future business as customer needs continue to be met by our specialty plastics.”
