SK chemicals’ major brands, Ginexin, Trast and Mvix won a total of ten brand awards this year.
Developed by SK chemicals’ R&D center with its patented technology in 1992, Ginexin F is made of extracts from Korean green ginkgo biloba leaves to improve blood circulation. When it was released, its sales marked KRW 10 billion in the first year.
So far, it has been keeping its No. 1 position in market share (2002~2007, based on IMS data). With continuous brand management, Ginexin won the Korea’s Best Brand, Customer
Trust Brand, Highest Brand, and Korea Brand Star Award.
Trast, the most well-known patch for knee arthritis in Korea, started to gain much consumers’ attention with a promotion phrase, “The Right Answer to Knee Arthritis.” And it won the Korea’s Best Brand, Customer Trust Brand, and Highest Brand.

Also, released in last November, Mvix, the strongest erectile dysfunction treating medicine in the world, won the Customer Trust Brand, Highest Brand, Korea Brand Star Award as the well as the Best New Medicine in Korea.
