- Ginexin-F Tab, the Korean representative blood circulation improvement agent, was newly introduced as the improvement agent for concentration difficulty
- Requires only one tablet per day, leading to increased convenience for patients
Following the Ginexin-F Tab., the Korean representative blood circulation improving agent, Ginexin-F Tab. 240 mg has been introduced as a new agent for improving mental functions that are accompanied by symptoms such as concentration difficulty, memory loss, and dizziness.
SK chemicals (CEO: Kwang-hyun Jeon) announced on the 8th that it has released Ginexin-F Tab. 240 mg (hereinafter referred to as Ginexin), which contains high concentrations of ginkgo leaf extract.
Ginexin, the No.1 blood circulation improvement agent in Korea, is a drug that improves blood circulation in the peripheral arteries of our body through the "three major blood circulation actions" of lowering blood viscosity, expanding blood vessels, and improving blood flow. The newly introduced Ginexin 240 mg has the main efficacies of improving memory loss, concentration difficulty, and dizziness.
Symptoms of memory loss and concentration difficulty begin to appear in middle-aged and elderly people in their 50s or older. If left untreated, these symptoms are highly likely to convert to mild cognitive impairment, the previous stage of dementia. Since the conditions can further develop into dementia, a common disease of the elderly, continuous management is necessary.
According to clinical literature, administration of 240 mg of dried ginkgo leaf extract once a day showed significantly superior results compared to placebo in the treatment of dementia patients with neuropsychiatric symptoms.1
Considering these observations as well as the fact that the agent would require constant administration like drugs for chronic disease, Ginexin 240 mg high-dose tablets were released. People can prepare for dementia by simply taking a tablet once a day.
SK chemicals CEO Kwang-hyun Jeon said, “Ginexin, the Korean representative blood circulation improvement agent, which has been loved for the past 29 years, has been newly introduced as a high-dose Ginexin 240 mg.” He added, “In the future, we plan to continue our product R&D efforts to satisfy patients, doctors, and pharmacists.”
SK chemicals has strived since the product was released in 1992 to improve consumer discomfort as a leading Korean blood circulation improvement agent consisting of dried ginkgo leaf extract.
As a blockbuster-class product that achieved 460 billion won in accumulated sales last year, Ginexin continues to be “No. 1 in sales of products with dried ginkgo leaf extract” in the Korean blood circulation improvement agent category until last year.
